Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) advises there is at a vegetation fire burning in inaccessible land near Prout Road, Burbank. The fire is burning within containment lines and is posing no threat to property at this time. QFES and Brisbane City Council crews will continue to monitor overnight. Smoke will affect surrounding areas including Mount Gravatt, Mackenzie, Mansfield, Belmont, Wishart, Carindale, Carina Heights and the Gateway Motorway. Residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medication close by if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
