Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) has extended a local fire ban for Brisbane residents.

The local fire ban is expected to remain in place until 00:00hrs Wednesday 5 December, 2018.

The local fire ban applies to residents of the following Local Government Areas: Moreton Bay Regional Council, Brisbane City Council and Redland City Council.

Local fire ban for Brisbane region

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) has imposed a local fire ban for Brisbane residents. 

The local fire ban will be in place from 0001hrs Friday 30 November, for residents in the Moreton Bay, Brisbane City and Redland City Local Government Areas. 

This ban is expected to remain in place until 2359hrs, Sunday 2 December 2018.
