Two Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a bushfire burning near McCords Road, Yandina Creek (Sunshine Coast). This blaze is now contained and there is no threat to homes at this time.

Crews will continue to monitor the area throughout the morning.

Smoke may be affecting the area and residents should close windows and doors and keep medications close by if suffering from a respiratory condition. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
