    The message advises residents to boil their water until further notice due to recent rainfall impacting the water treatment plant.

    The Emergency Alert for Black River has been CANCELLED.

    A critical infrastructure Emergency Alert message has been issued to Black River residents from the Townsville Local Disaster Management Group.

    The message advises residents that properties in Black River will experience loss of water supply due to a break in the watermain. 

    Residents are advised there will be no water for approximately 6 hours.

    The Emergency Alert for Lower Herbert has been CANCELLED.
     
    An Emergency Alert flood message has been issued by Hinchinbrook Shire Council for residents of the Lower Herbert. 
     
    The message advises that flood levels on the Herbert River at Halifax are expected to peak at 5.5 metres this afternoon. 
     
    Residents of the Lower Herbert are advised to enact their household emergency plans.

    An Emergency Alert flood message has been issued by the Townsville Local Disaster Management Group for properties in Cluden, Rosslea, Hermit Park, Oonoonba, Idalia and Railway Estate.

    The message advises residents that properties in these areas may experience flash flooding due to heavy rainfall. 

    Residents are advised to move to higher ground if they are concerned.

    An Emergency Alert has been issued by the Flinders Local Disaster Management Group to residents in Hughenden.

    An Emergency Alert message has been issued by the Flinders Local Disaster Management Group.

    The message advises Hughenden residents that the Flinders River is expected to cause flooding on the north side of the river and that properties in this area are likely to experience flooding.

    The message also advises recipients to warn neighbours, secure their belongings and move to higher ground if required.

    The Emergency Alert for Charters Towers has been CANCELLED.

    An Emergency Alert flood message has been issued for residents in the Charters Towers area.

    There is a major flood warning for the Burdekin River. With forecast rainfall, the Burdekin River at Sellheim may reach close to 19 metres late Tuesday evening.

    Macrossan Bridge at Sellheim will be closed for the next two to three days, and potentially for longer.
