Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) has reinstated a local fire ban for south-east Queensland residents. 

The local fire ban will be in place from 0001hrs Sunday 2 December, for residents in the Ipswich, Somerset, Lockyer, Logan, Scenic Rim and Gold Coast Local Government Areas. 

This ban is expected to remain in place until 2359hrs, Sunday 2 December 2018.
