Seven State Emergency Service (SES) teams from across Queensland will put their skills to the test at the SES State Disaster Rescue Challenge in Rockhampton this weekend (4-5 May).

Teams from Somerset, Rockhampton, Cairns, Townsville, Bundaberg SES Unit, Redland SES Unit and Warwick will compete for top spot and the opportunity to represent Queensland at the National Disaster Rescue Challenge Challenge later this year.

Teams will undertake seven significant challenges which will test their rescue skills during the two-day event.
